We are pleased to report that there are a lot of Tuttle's around the world.

HISTORICAL TUTTLE'S

The Tuttle name is probably taken from the name of a locality in England. Tuttle may be derived from the
word Tuthill, meaning a conical hill, of remote antiquity in England.

Nevertheless, we are not descended from the Tuttle's who came to America in the 1630's, nor are we
descended from Peter Tuttle who came to America in 1680, nor are we descended from J. M. Tuttle,
born in 1861 in Chelsea, Massachusetts.

We are not related to anyone at the firm of Hewitt & Tuttle which once employed John D. Rockefeller at
$3.50 a week.

TUTTLES IN INSURANCE AND BUSINESS

We are not and have never been in the insurance business, but there are lots of Tuttle's in the
insurance business such as Tuttle & Traina Insurance Agency in Massachusetts, Wollam Insurance
Agency whose president is William Tuttle, Joan Tuttle Insurance Agency, Tuttle & Cromer Insurance
Agency, The Tuttle Insurance Agency, and Tuttle and Williams Agency; but none of them are related to
us.

It won't help to use our name to get a job through the Tuttle (employment) Agency.

Many Tuttle's like us own & operate their own businesses.

We are not associated with any of the many Tuttle Funeral Homes such as the one in NJ.

We are glad to see the Tuttle's have their own publishing company.

We are not associated with the Tuttle Construction firm of Lima, Ohio.

chaired the biology department there from 1888 to 1913.

TUTTLE'S AND SPORTS

We are not related to 1950's and 1960's major leaguer Bill Tuttle, a great defensive centerfielder for
Detroit, Kansas City, and Minnesota. He later crusaded against chewing tobacco, which claimed his life.

Perry Tuttle was an all-American wide receiver football player at Clemson, and played pro football for
ten years.

Although the original painting titled " American Gothic " was painted by Grant Wood, it was later painted

However, We Are Related To Each Other !

Wayne Tuttle & Tina Zurich were married in May 1988 and have to wonderful children,
now aged 8 and 6.

Most of the Tuttle's that are directly related to Wayne live in Southern Ontario Canada, with a few
remaining distant relatives living in England.

Although, Tina's maiden name was Zurich (not to be confused with Zurich Insurance) , most of her
relatives also live in Southern Ontario Canada, some parts of the United States (hopefully Texas) and
also with a few distant relatives still living in England.

Wayne's grandmother Madeline Elliot married a Hill from Lankashire England and Tina's had a
